Overcoming Fear

Deuteronomy 31:8 states: “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged”.

This painting is a reflection based on the bible verse found in Deuteronomy 31:8 and Saint Paul's' second letter to Timothy chapter 2 verse 7: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. A message of HOPE also spread by Saint Paul to the church in the ancient city of Philippi eastern Macedonia, which is in northeastern Greece today, where Paul in Philippians 4:13 reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". 

To overcome successfully a challenge, a difficulty and or a strong emotion. I move thru prayer instead of letting it cause complete or partial paralyses. For after all: 'Tomorrow is another day".

A friend used to say to me he had been depressed for so long that if he ever got happy, he would probably miss being depressed. I would have to add to his statement that I have been so lonely for so long that if I ever was not lonely, I would feel weird.
