Symbolic Emotional Abstract paintings by Rafael M Nido

Image
The art represented in this blog is primarily a reflection on a thought or concept or a prayer. Art as a way to express a feeling or interpret a personal mood or prayer. The work is spontaneous and created without a fixed plan. It relies on emotion, the flow and the thought of the moment.  I started drawing in my mid-twenties; painting after my father died in 2001. I took one Art History class in college. I founded it to be not inspirational at all. Art loses that 'je ne sais quoi' exploring periods, movements, and styles. When painting the moment is best spent extracting a feeling, a thought or an interpretation of a personal reflection, meditation and or prayer. In this blog I share my reflections, meditations and prayers.

My thoughts and my will  without wisdom and prudence  but the forefront of chaos.  Not every loud thought deserves immediate energy, urgency and importance. Seeking a wider perspective requires a stepping back and a looking at the bigger picture or goal and accepting what cannot be controlled.
