Overcoming loneliness


The worst side effect to being lonely is depression. A friend used to say to me he had been depressed for so long that if he ever got happy, he would probably miss being depressed. I would have to add to his statement that I have been so lonely for so long that if I ever was not lonely, I would feel weird.
